Join the Old Hallowell Day Parade

Old Hallowell Day is Saturday, July 19, 2008 and we cordially invite you to
join us in the Parade this year. We are very excited about this year's
parade and feel confident that together we can put together an event that
will make both Hallowell and you proud.
A Parade Registration Form is attached. Below are a few important dates to
keep in mind:
Monday, July 7th - Recommended deadline for registrations
We would like to receive your registration form if at all humanly possible
by this date! It just makes our lives easier. Please email the enclosed form
to Susan@GreatGatherings.com. You may also fax to 622-6228, or mail to the
address below. Feel free to copy the entry form for others to use. Entries
received after July 7th are welcome but may not be eligible to be judged.
Last minute entries may register on Old Hallowell Day until 8:30 a.m. and we
will fit you in if possible.
After July 9th - Parade positions available
If you provide an email address, we will email your starting position and
staging area. Otherwise, we will contact you by fax or phone.
July 19th - Old Hallowell Day
7:30 - 9:30 am. Check-in for pre-registered entries (Someone representing
the entry MUST check in.) Check in at the Parade Registration table, even if
you have already received your starting position. The Parade Registration
table will be at Sweetser at 52 Water Street (formerly Protea, formerly
Letter Systems). This will let parade staff know that you have arrived.
Judged entries will receive their display number.
7:30 - 8:30 am. Registration & check-in for last minute entries
The Parade Registration table will be at Sweetser at 52 Water Street
(formerly Protea, formerly Letter Systems).
10:00 am. The Parade begins promptly!
11:30 am. The Parade Awards
The Judges' Award winners will be announced and awards given out shortly
after the parade ends.
